Shelly Beach Long Exposure

Tuesday, May 7th, 2013

Here is another one of the long exposures I took while down at Shell Beach last week.  I love how a long exposure gives a photo life and really brings a cool dynamic into a photo if used correctly.  I hung around on the beach for quite some time to find the right spot and wait for the light to be just right, it always pays off to be patient.

The Moving Ocean

Monday, May 6th, 2013

I recently took a trip down to the South Coast on the Eastern side of Southern Africa to the ever warm Indian Ocean.  It’s beautiful down there, tropical and pretty much warm all year round!  We spent a couple days in Durban and then headed further south for 2 nights where we stayed at my paren’t vacation spot in a little town called, “Shelly Beach”.  I shot these photos down on the beach front, the light was perfect…

Sunset in Brighton

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

I’ve seen many friends posting photos of their sunset experiences in from Brighton Beach in the U.K.  Always wanted to experience it for myself and have some photos to show.  It happened in December 2011 and here are my photos.

Ship Wrecked

Monday, May 4th, 2009

The Skeleton Coast of Namibia is famous all over the world for the many ship wrecks which litter it’s shore line.  The reason for the wrecks is the thick fog that occurs there when the warm air from the desert meets the cold moist air coming in from the Atlantic Ocean.  The Northern part of the Skeleton Coast has more of the ship wrecks.  We did however find this one down south, pretty close to Swakopmund.  It ran ashore here less than a year ago!

Walking on the Beach

Just a random shot I took of some old guy swimming in the icy-cold San Francisco Bay!

Madagascar and Nosy Be island.

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

I recently went on Honeymoon with my wife Sarah to Madagascar, needless to say, it was totally amazing and very different to anything I have ever experienced!  I was totally humbled by the native people, living off approximately $1 per day and still, they are hardly ever without a smile, just doing what they have to do.  Oh, these are also the first pictures I have blogged so I hope this works!
