Our cousin’s recently came to visit us for a week with their 7 month old little girl, “Raylee”.  We set up a photo shoot in our living room and here are some of the results.  She’s quite a little heart melter.

Bailey

Wednesday, June 26th, 2013

My wife and I recently adopted this bundle of joy from a place called, Kitty and Puppy Haven.  They’re a good place to adopt from if you are looking for a pet.  We adopted our male cat, “Luca” from them as well.  We’ve had Bailey for almost 3 weeks now and she’s been the most amazing puppy ever.  These are some shots I snapped of her playing on the lawn the other day.  She loves chasing me around the yard and then having me chase her around.  She’s found a special place in our home and we love her way too dam much!  Meet Bailey and smile.

For the love of Royal Enfield

Monday, September 3rd, 2012

This is just a photo I took of my Brother in Law, Alan Shenton…  On the day he received his beautiful Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycle.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen him quite as happy!  Wishing you many years of enjoyment riding that bike Alan, you deserve it!

Ginny & Luca close and personal

Wednesday, March 7th, 2012

I’m always trying to get good shots of my cat’s eyes, needless to say that it’s one of the most difficult things ever!  Cat’s get weird when a lens get’s close to their face!  I recently got myself a Canon Macro lens which means I’m gonna be getting in even close to the cats!  Lucky for them.  I shot these 2 shots yesterday by pure luck!  They were both feeling pretty lazy so they were still enough for me to snap these 2 shots of their eyes.  I love my cats!

Alan and his Guitars

Monday, September 12th, 2011

I can’t remember the last time I met someone that is so passionate about what they do or perhaps I just haven’t.  I spend quite a lot of time at Alan’s house since he is my brother in law but I can honestly say we don’t spend much time speaking to one another and not because we don’t want to, rather cause he is usually playing 1 of his guitars.  On my last visit I decided to get my camera out when I heard him start rocking out in his bedroom.  I shot these photos as the sounds reverberated off the walls and while Alan explained to me the differences between his guitars.  Alan’s band, ‘Zebra & Giraffe’are currently one of the top headlining bands here in South Africa. Check em out!

Streets for a Playground

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

I shot these photos on a recent trip to the Maboneng Precinct in the downtown area of Johannesburg.  This kid really enjoyed running up to the camera and then riding off down the street on his skateboard.

Sarah at Main Street Life

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

Sarah and I went down to the Main Street Life building in Johannesburg over the weekend to check out a space where I will be displaying the photos for the project, “Faces of Maboneng”.  I shot these photos of Sarah in the building.  Enjoy!
