I shot this picture a while ago with my Contax G1 and just liked the old look of this picture, there’s definitely something about shooting with film that you just don’t get when shooting digital. 

South Africa is a third-world country and, although you don’t feel it as much when you’re in the big cities, it’s very apparent when you drive out into the coutry side.  We took my Lada Niva out for an off-road adventure this last Saturday on a dirt road that goes all the way out to Bronkhorstspruit Dam, stopping along the way to take pictures of interesting things…  I found this house quite interesting and the people were quite excited about some stranger taking pictures of their house!
